Champagne for Maiken

The sun was shining and the winds fair leaving Channel Islands. The windvane works well after some adjustments, so we decided to give a toast to Maiken and the Pacific ocean for a safe and happy journey. We rounded San Nicolas Island at midnight and turned south for Marquesas. Today it's cloudy and wind West 10 knots. The forecast shows expected NW winds 5-15 knots the coming days.
